Sunday Siesta And Retrofitted Future

If someone ask me to describe myself in one, two or three words, I would rather suggest to describe myself in one, two or three movie titles. One of them, as you can see is “2001: Space Odyssey”, directed by Stanley Kubrick, 1968. “He likened the film to a painting and a piece of music, something to experience “at an inner level of consciousness”, a quote from the web portal BBC, culture. The next one will be SF Film Noire “Blade Runner” directed by Ridley Scott (1982) which later became an acclaimed cult film regarded as one of the all-time best science fiction movies. Hailed for its production design depicting a “retrofitted” future. Then the sequel “Blade Runner 2049”, neo-noir science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve. And the last one is the movie quite different, a romantic erotic drama stars Kim Basinger as Elizabeth McGraw and Mickey Rourke as John Gray, “Nine and a half Weeks”, which reminds me on a happy sunny Sundays afternoon when I was a teenager who was dreaming about visiting the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Guggenheim Museum in New York…
